Twitter uses the # (hashtag) to link to a topic where as the @ (at sign) to link to a person:P
- # = Topic - for example URTech knows more about #windows, #exchange and #Samsung #S3 than most other companies
- @ = Person – for example URTech is owned by @IanMatthews
You can combined these two in a single Tweet like @IanMatthews at #urtech knows a lot about #projectmanagement
