The old Soti Mobi Control agent (v9 and older) does not function on Android 4.3 which most Samsung S3′s received a few months ago. To resolve this, upgrade your Mobi Control server or uninstall the Mobi Control agent.
If you want to uninstall the Mobi Control agent but find the SETTINGS > MORE> APPLICATION MANAGER > Mobi Control FORCE STOP and UNINSTALL buttons are greyed out you need to first make Mobi Control NOT an ADMINISTRATOR APP. You can do this via SETTINGS > MORE> DEVICE ADMIINISTRATORS > uncheck MobiControl. Now you can use APPLICATION MANAGER to uninstall it.
To remove the MobiControl Device Agent from Android devices (both generic and Android Plus), youmust deactivate MobiControl as the device administrator. To do this, go into Settings, Security, then Device Administrators. Once in the Device Administrators section, select MobiControl and deactivate it.After you deactivated MobiControl, you can then remove the MobiControl app as a regular Android app.
